Nova Solar Hybrid hot water heating system consists of thermal stores with removal type twin coil spiral heat exchangers / PHE. The lower coil for solar and upper coil for heat pump. The solar collector absorbs the solar radiations that are received from sun and same heat is transferred to the water/Glycol which is available inside the solar thermal collector risers.
This heat energy is further transported to the lower side spiral heat exchanger inside the thermal store by using solar primary circulation pump. It will transfer heat to the stored water and reduceits heating media temperature. Again, the lower temperature liquid from coil pumped to solar panels to absorb the heat from sun.
This process continuously controlled by solar differential temperature controller (DTC) with the help hot(t1) and cold (t1) sensor. (T1- solar panel out let temperature & T2 and tank bottom temperature). The solar Pump operations controlled by using diff. Temperature controller. And the bottom portion of the thermal store pre heated by using primary heat source which is available in the form of solar.

Top portion of the thermal store heated by using secondary heat source Which is available in the form of air source heat pumps & it is controlled based on the temperature sensor at middle portion of the thermal store.The hottest water will hold in thermal storeand same will be transfer to taps points during morning and evening peaks.
The thermal storesare always holding the hottest water since All the stores are insulated well with 100mm thick, 48 kg/m3 density Rock wool slabs and 22 gauge aluminium cladding all around the tank.
So that there are fewer thermal losses in thermal store, same will be supplied to the usage points.
Operational cost can save the Appx. 75-85% over Electrical heaters etc.By using Hybrid heating system - Solar with heat pumps (the above savings without consideration of hot water piping circulation heat loss at Buildings.)
